• Hazard identification and risk assessment regarding safety, health and environmental impact, before commencement of steelmaking
• Ensuring that risk mitigation measures (removal of risk, engineering design, personal protective equipment as last resort, etc) as identified during the aspect / hazard identification and risk assessment process are implemented and maintained
• Effectively monitoring the occupational hygiene conditions, as well as the occupational health of all our employees
• Prevention and control of occupational injuries, occupational diseases and environmental pollution
• Declaring all employees competent after necessary training, coaching and mentorship
• Conserving natural resources and reducing the environmental burden of waste generation and emissions to the air, water and land through strategies focusing on reducing, re-using, recycling, and safe deposal of waste
