Kosto is a rolling mill located in Plaine Lauzun. With a capacity of 60 000 tons of rebar per annum Kosto is becoming the leading supplier of reinforcing products to the Mauritian market. History in brief....

Refurbishment of rolling mills acquired in Mauritius in 2007 was completed during 2009 and the mill is upgraded and operational, positioning Murray & Roberts Steel as the primary manufacturer and distributor of reinforcing products in the Indian Ocean Islands. A multi-billion infrastructure development program initiated by the Mauritian government offers the business significant additional future opportunity.
